Dear Families of Chief Justice Milvain School,

It is my pleasure to welcome you back to Chief Justice Milvain School for another exciting year of learning. As was shared with the school community in the spring, I am the new Principal of Chief Justice Milwain School. We are looking forward to meeting your children, and working with you as partners in your child’s learning journey. I have been told that Chief Justice Milvain is a a very special place, I can not wait to be part of this amazing school community.

The school office will be open on August 28. Please let us know if your life circumstances have changed over the summer and you will be moving to a new school.

As a reminder, the first day of school is Thursday, August 29. Please watch for an additional email from your child’s new teacher on Tuesday afternoon (August 27th ) sharing more information about first day school procedures.

There will be no school on Monday, September 2-Labour Day. School will commence on Tuesday, September 3.

Transportation

The deadline to register for transportation for the start of the school year is June 16, 2024. CBE Transportation continues to accept registration after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the year due to volume. Families are responsible for transportation until their registration is confirmed. Bussing is available to our families living in Coral Springs and Taradale only . If your child will be riding the bus, please register through your MyCBE account. TLC Students - Uniforms

Please wear your school uniform on the first day of school. If your child does not have a uniform, your child will still attend school. We ask that you order your child’s uniform as soon as possible online at McCarthy Uniforms.
